Wood Sealant
Preparation
Working Conditions: Between +5°C and +40°C.
Preliminary treatment: For a neat result, use masking tape along sides of joint. To avoid three-sided bonding and to obtain correct joint depth, first fill joint with foam backer rod or PE foil.
Tools: Use sealant gun (Bison Click Gun) to handle cartridge.
Application
Directions for use:
Cut off plastic nipple above screw thread. Attach plastic nozzle and cut it slantwise at desired bead size. Ensure joint width is between 6 and 24 mm. Joint depth should be between 6 and 9 mm. Fill joint evenly with sealant and tool within 10 minutes with a wetted putty knife or finger. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling.
Stains/Residue: Remove fresh stains immediately with water. Dried sealant can only be removed mechanically.
Points of attention: Sealant can be painted and varnished and is weather resistant after complete cure.
