Sealant Strip Sanitary
Preparation
Working Conditions: From +10°C tol +35°C.
Preliminary treatment: Clean surface thoroughly with an abrasive and carefully remove any old sealant residue. Treat irregularities in surface, like deep tile joints, with a fine filler. Carefully degrease surface with methylated spirits or ammonia (not with white spirit!). Let dry well.
Tools: Scissors, knife.
Application
Directions for use:
Cut strip to size and leave a margin of approx. 10–15 mm. Start with the longest joint. Fold strip lengthwise and pull loose a corner of protective foil. Put one end of sealant strip on joint and apply while firmly pressing downward. Attention: do not stretch sealant strip while pressing! Cut off excess strip at end of joint. Check if sealant strip adheres well everywhere - especially in tile joints. Apply other strip(s) in same way. Make sure strips overlap in corners. Starting from corner, cut off overlapping pieces diagonally (45°) and press firmly again.
Stains/Residue: Remove tape residue with white spirit.
